Treatise on Reflectvoyance crystals
Excerpt from the notes of Professor Leonardo Vinciguerra (1816)
Each crystal is bound to a specific element and can be found where that element is particularly strong.

Red crystals
Red crystals are often discovered at the bottom of long-extinct volcanoes or among the ruins of fires of exceptional magnitude. Their essence is believed to be tied to retribution and/or vengeance.

Blue and azure crystals
Blue and azure crystals are found beneath tall and violent waterfalls, or in places where cliffs and fjords make navigation perilous. If shipwrecks are present, they are often discovered within them. A correlation has been observed between these crystals and the facing of danger and sacrifice, even when one succumbs to it.
Green crystals
Green crystals have been found in vast, deep caves; occasionally, they have also been unearthed in large mining quarries, but only after many years of extraction. It is almost certain that they resonate with the perseverance needed to reach the core, the heart of one’s pursuit.
Whitish crystals
Whitish crystals belong to the highest peaks or to places where a great number of the dead lie. When these two conditions coincide, more than one crystal may be found. Breath and sobs are thought to be connected to them.
Violet crystals
The final crystals are the violet ones, of the Aether. They have also been found deep within perilous caverns, leading many to believe they form from great silence itself. Sites of various cults, both ancient and recent, which once drew large crowds, have been known to develop one of these crystals at their center. They are believed to be connected to silence and self-reflection.
